The DPS reports a Newton woman was killed in a one-vehicle wreck Monday night. 33-year old
Krista Denise Trammell was traveling westbound on FM 363, about three miles northwest of
Bon Weir when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Trammell,
who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Traveling at an unsafe speed
was a contributing factor in the wreck.
