State Representative James White will host a town hall meeting this evening relating to a
proposed meat processing plant between Woodville and Doucette. White has invited the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to come and brief the community. Several
residents have voiced their disapproval for the plant. This evening’s town hall meeting will
be from 6:30 – 8:30 at t he Eagle Summit, which is next to Woodville High School.
