A Lumberton man is jailed following a double stabbing. 50-year old Jessie “Buddy” Lawrence
is accused of attacking a man and a woman yesterday morning in the parking lot of the Silsbee
Wal-Mart. The victims were involved in an argument with Lawrence when they were stabbed.
The stab wounds are not life-threatening. Lawrence fled the scene and was taken into custody
later in the day.
