A man is dead following a Saturday evening shooting in Beaumont. Police say what started
out as a disturbance at CiCi’s Pizza on Eastex Freeway ended with a shooing on Dowlen Road,
under the overpass at Eastex Freeway. 20-year old Jesse Angel Rodriguez, of Beaumont, was
transported to the hospital where he died. Detectives are searching all those involved. Anyone
