Vidor Chief of Police Rod Carroll wants to be the next sheriff in Jefferson County. Carroll,
who lost to current Sheriff Zena Stephens in the 2016 Democratic Primary, will run onthe
Republican in 2020. Carroll will make his official announcement on December 3rd.
