Historic space launch!

We’ve now shot some NASA astronauts into space from US soil for the first time in nearly a decade. It’s the first time since NASA retired the shuttle fleet about ten years ago that astronauts blasted off from Cape Canaveral and the first time ever that a privately owned and built rocket was used. The Elon Muck owned SpaceX launched NASA astronauts Bob Benken and Doug Hurley toward the International Space Station on Saturday afternoon after the first try on Wednesday was scrapped due to weather in Florida. They blasted off on Saturday at 230pm, check out the video of the launch!
