Three are jailed in Jefferson County on fraud charges. Yesterday morning, deputies were called
to Patna Road about a suspicious vehicle. When they arrived on the scene, there were three
people in a car parked on the road. Inside the car deputies found a gun and a large amount of
mail with various names on it. It was learned the mail was stolen from residences in Silsbee,
Lumberton, and Beaumont. 31-year old Ashley Loftin of Spurger, 233-year old Wesley Martinez
of Beaumont, and 26-year old Yance Young of Beaumont are all being held on bonds totaling
$60,000.
