Riley Green Says He Has ‘Clark Griswold-Type Of Quality’ Holiday Decoration

Riley Green goes all out when it comes to decorating for the holiday season. So much so that the country star compares his level of lights and decorations to Clark Griswold from the popular movie, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Anyone who’s seen the movie knows that the Griswold family takes their Christmas decoration to the next level.

“We definitely have a Clark Griswold-type of quality, me and Pop do, when it comes to decoration outside,” Green tells his label in a recent interview. “You know, when we found out we can buy those, like snow globes and the big blow-up animals and Santas and reindeer.”

Green has a big house he built down in Alabama where his family all fathers for the holidays and special occasions. This year the country star hasn’t had nearly as much time as previous years to decorate due to his busy schedule as he’s been out on the road for his “Get That Man A Beer Tour,” named after his 2019 EP, Get That Man A Beer.

“I haven’t really had the time to go home and decorate like I want to at my house yet," Green explains. "So, this might be my first Christmas decorating the way I want to.”

As his tour concluded on Saturday (December 14), he might have just enough time to get home and set up his yard with inflatables and lights just in time for Christmas.

After spending some time at home for the holidays, Green will start head back out on the road with Jason Aldean for his "We Back Tour." The 20-city trek, in support of Aldean’s latest album, 9, will officially kick off on January 30 in Columbia, South Carolina. Morgan Wallen and Dee Jay Silver will also be joining Aldean as opening acts. Tickets for the tour are available now.
