An arrest has been made in Port Arthur for injury to the elderly in which the victim died.
Last week, police were called to the 2900 block of 5th Street where EMS was treating an
elderly woman that showed signs of severe neglect. She was transported to the hospital where
she was pronounced dead. An arrest was made this week. The investigation continues.
