An individual has made contact with Vidor police in connection with an auto/pedestrian
fatality in which the driver left the scene. The Tuesday night incident in the 1600 of
North Main claimed the life of 25-year old John Dylan Stanley, of Vidor. The driver of
of the pickup is cooperating with police and says he believed he had hit a deer. He contacted
police after hearing reports of the fatality. The investigation continues.
