2020 is going to be one for the books for the Foo Fighters. Not only is the band readying an anniversary tour, but the rock vets have announced D.C. Jam Fest for the Fourth of July with plenty of special guests.
As per the announcement, which arrived on Tuesday (March 3), the collective is set to hit FedExField in Landover, Maryland for a one-day music takeover. The event will take place on the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album's release. The festival will include a headlining set from the Foos and a curated roster of acts, including Chris Stapleton, Pharrell, tThe Go-Go's, Band of Horses, Durand Jones & The Indications, The Regrettes, Beach Bunny and Radkey. While festivity will revolve around music, the affair is also expected to include a BBQ competition, tailgate party, carnival rides and more.
Tickets to D.C. Jam Fest go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET. However, a number of pre-sale opportunities will be available for fans, including a Foo fan pre-sale and Citicard member pre-sale, which are both currently live. Additional pre-sales will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET for Stapleton fans, Live Nation pre-sale for Washington Redskins season ticket members and FedExField Events fans.
