Louisiana Returning To Modified Phase Two

The state of Louisiana is returning to modified Phase Two COVID-19 guidelines starting today because of a surge in cases of coronavirus. Governor John Bel Edwards announced the measure yesterday saying the revised Phase Two plan would last for the next 28-days. Under the plan, sporting events are limited to 25-percent capacity, non-essential retail businesses including restaurants and casinos must operate at 50-percent capacity, and churches can hold services at 75-percent capacity. Mask mandates will also remain in place and bars are only allowed up to 25-percent capacity indoors in parishes with a positivity rate below five-percent
