A man is jailed facing multiple charges. Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle last night on
Elgie Street that was used in a recent aggravated robbery. The driver stopped and fled on foot.
During the foot pursuit he threw a gun on the ground. Police were able to catch him and take
him in custody. K-9 unit was used to locate the gun. Cash was also found near the discarded
gun.
