Move Over And Slow Down

By Harold Mann
Jul 21, 2021

Move over or slow down. The DPS will have an operation today in Southeast Texas to remind

motorists they need to move over to the next lane or slow down 20 miles under the posted speed

limit if they see an emergency vehicle on side of the roadway. This includes law enforcement,

EMS, Tex-Dot, and tow trucks. Fines for not moving over or slowing down can be up to $200.
