Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated assault. A man was attacked and severely beaten near
Highland and Virginia yesterday afternoon. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Police
are residents in that area to check their surveillance cameras for possible evidence. Anyone with an
information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas at 833-TIPS.
