A man who is a registered sex offender, and woman, are charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child. Beaumont Police say the woman knew the man was a registered sex offender but allowed different children to stay at her home. Forty-one-year-old Patricia Ann Eglin was babysitting up to 12 different children at her residence, while allowing 51-year-old Troy Fountain Howard to live at the residence. During the investigation it was learned that the children had spoken of various acts of sexual abuse by Howard, but Eglin told them not to tell anyone.
