A Tyler County man initially charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is now charged with
murder following the death of the shooting victim. 33-year old Cody Knight, of Woodville, is accused of
the April 18th shooting of 35-year old Ernest Williams. Williams died at the hospital. Knight’s bond was
increased from $500,000 to $1 million.
