The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 41-year old Howard Dontay Celestine is charged with the June 24th stabbing death of his girlfriend, Lizzie Odom, at her Beaumont home in the 1600 of East Lucas. Detectives say Celestine then drove to an ex-girlfriend’s house in the 8700 block of Skyview where he crashed his car into her home attempting to kill her.
