ORANGE COUNTY – The following closures on IH-10 will begin at 9 p.m. on Friday, December 13 through 5 a.m. Monday, December 16. Details are as follows:
- Alternating lane closures on IH-10 eastbound and westbound from SH 87 to the Sabine River Bridge
- The IH-10 eastbound U-Turn to the Travel Information Center will be closed.
- IH-10 westbound exit to the Travel Information Center will be closed. The Travel Information Center will be closed during this time.
These closures will also include EXIT 878 to Simmons Drive and 16th Street. Drivers will be detoured to EXIT 877 and use the turnaround to access these roadways.
Contractors will be working on a traffic shift and moving concrete traffic barriers. Please drive cautiously through the work zones and expect delays.
