The Indiana Hoosiers moved into the top 5 in the Week 8 Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll released on Sunday (October 12).
The Hoosiers, who entered Week 7 at No. 7 overall, moved up four spots to No. 3 overall following their, 30-20, road win against the then- No. 3 Oregon Ducks on Saturday (October 11). The Ducks fell five spots to No. 8 overall.
Oklahoma, who entered Week 7 at No. 6 overall, had the biggest drop of any team remaining in the top 25, falling eight spots to No. 14 overall after its blowout loss to arch rival Texas. The Longhorns re-entered the top 25 poll at No. 21 overall after falling out last weekend following their loss to Florida in Week 6.
