A Beuumont man jailed on a murder charge has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury on a separate charge of aggravated sexual assault. 43 year old Michael Denson is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a vacant home in the 500 block of North 2nd in Beaumont. Last month, Denson was arrested after confessing to the June 2021 murder of 39 year old Shanequa Castaneda in Beaumont.
