(El Paso, TX) --The FAA says all flight flights to and from El Paso, Texas are being halted for ten days for "special security reasons." Today's announcement said no pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by the federal notice, but did not elaborate on the "special security reasons." El Paso International Airport confirmed the announcement on social media, and said all flights including commercial, cargo and "general aviation" were grounded, and added that, "travelers should contact their airlines to get most up-to-date flight status information."
