Al's Morning Blog 08/25/22

 Here is our new word of the day. Bidenology. repeat Bidenology. It's the wheelbarrow effect. You take as much money as you can fit into a wheelbarrow and push it over the side of the nearest cliff. Latest to launch is free college. Imagine the folks like my granddaughter and two grandson for instance who paid their way thru Texas Teach, Texas A&M and currently Lamar. I know Jim Love is happy he paid his way to Lamar as did Greg at A&M etc. I never got to college. I blame myself for that. My mom and dad were going to forego part of their retirement to help me. Hey, I'm good. College would have been nice but I wanted to sing and play rock and roll so everything worked out well. How about those who didn't work out so well? How about the moms and dads who worked extra jobs and the kids who worked all night, only to go to class bleary eyed in the morning to get their education? Do they get a rebate or a finger in the eye or some other area? Joe is no fool. He knows that's going to play well in Peoria and other spots where young democrats, eager to shed their bills and move on will love it. So what's next? Pay off car notes. Hell, those people didn't know 60 month's meant five years. Pay off the furniture. We needed a new sofa. We just couldn't afford it. Pay my house note. I had no idea 30 years meant 360 notes. I just cannot do it. Help me, Joe. I'm ALMOST 40. I'm to old to work. Can we get an upgrade on my social security and maybe get it to kick in at age 40? My kids want to go to college, too and sure deserve at least a good a deal as I got. Next week, the story of the Ant and the Grasshopper.
