I'm a little concerned about the approach Nikki Haley is taking in what appears to be the twilight hours of her campaign. I have a lot of respect for her as two term governor of South Carolina as well as her work with the UN. Is she waiting for the Robert E. Lee? Probably not. I am still betting on the fact she is playing her cards for a spot as VP. How foolish, you say?

Remember JFK didn't like LBJ. Couldn't stand him but needed him. Reagan/Bush. Obama/Biden and Joe and Kamala. this, after she called Joe "racist". It did not matter. Trump knows it's going to be close and if he's smart, he will try and spike the ticket difference by showing he has (or thinks) he makes better choices. At this point, it's unpredictable. Too close to call and it could come down to the bottom half of the ticket. We've seen this movie before and said again and again, the VP pick will notmatter. Some say Haley has a brain freeze. Could be. She also might be looking at her hand and thinking with Trump only able to serve one term, there might be room in that two-car garage. Being second in command she could fall back on UN experience as well as that of running a state, If she bows out now, she's damaged goods and probably not the shining light in 2028. If she were to get the number two slot, she would be in prime position next go around. Probably thinking the same thing Kamala is thinking.
